Whether it is door-to-door or port-to-port, we are experts in handling even special equipment needs. This includes flat rack, open top containers, dry, temperature-controlled and refrigerated.
With our less than container load (LCL) services, we offer guaranteed capacity, regular and frequent departures and a vast choice of destinations – whether on intercontinental or short sea routes. LCL containers are carefully planned and loaded in our own network. We consolidate freight at our dedicated gateways on a regular basis and serve most destinations worldwide at least once a week.
We operate a core carrier programme to make sure that cargo is handled in LCL containers by approved and reliable carriers. With our professional packing services we ensure safe cargo handling at every stage of the supply chain. Our reliable consolidation services allow you to plan for timely and cost-effective transportation of your cargo.
Complementary to our road freight and logistics solutions, we offer seamless door-to-door services including domestic logistics, storage and distribution. We offer storage and warehousing which complete the supply chain management process for imported and exported goods. This enables us to offer competitive and creative storage and warehousing solutions that will meet even the most stringent requirements of your business.
Pick and pack
If you outsource your supply chain management to us you will only pay for what you use instead of having hefty overheads for long-term warehouse leases and staff. Our supply chain management solutions also include pick and pack services.
We break down small and large quantities of goods arriving by sea and pick and pack the products for each consignee. Before the products are ready for delivery we will repackage, label and provide them with an invoice.
Last but not least, having our own staff at the warehouses we also handle security issues. All warehouses have integrated CCTV surveillance systems.
Domestic distribution
We distribute your goods all over the world through our domestic distribution centers and international network. We also offer just-in-time delivery from our distribution centers or directly to the customer. Finally, we also perform container stuffing and offer pallet optimisation, quality and volume control, and merchandise and documentation handling.
HAZARDOUS SEA CARGO
We organise pick-up and delivery by specialised carriers, arrange special packaging and labelling of hazardous cargo and prepare all necessary documentation according to international rules and regulations.
We are up-to-date with the applicable regulations on global forwarding of hazardous cargo. We have employees who are trained and certified in the handling of hazardous cargo – by air and by sea. This makes us capable of handling your entire supply chain and ensures that your cargo is handled properly.
We offer full temperature-controlled transport services by air, sea and road as well as storage of cargo. We use state-of-the art equipment to ensure reliable transportation of all perishable goods. We provide tailored customer solutions, and our highly experienced employees ensure that all your requirements are met.
Our employees are experts in handling your overweight and out of gauge shipments not suitable for standard containers. Whether you need flat rack or open top containers, mafi trailers, platforms or other types of special equipment, we are able to service your needs.
We arrange for the proper equipment, all necessary permits and blocking, bracing and packing. We only use premium sea freight carriers. In the destination country, specially trained DSV employees are prepared to accompany your shipment to its final destination. In addition, we offer customised solutions, even for your most complex transportation needs.
